I’m having one of those days today when I really feel the conflict between the artist in me and the businessperson in me. I want to buy approximate a gajillion dollars worth of new photographic equipment. I ran the numbers and, while I have the money, the ROI on spending it that way would be minimal and slow to come.

Basically, I could go ahead and buy the photo gear as a personal expense, just because I wanna. But, from a business perspective, I just can’t see doing it.

I wish that either (a) the business numbers came out a little higher in justifying the purchases or (b) I wanted the new toys a little less or (c) I wanted the new toys a little more.
